The Things We Do and Say...

So I went to this great B&B this weekend with three of my girlfriends to work on scrapbooking. We had such a good time!
We had some really funny moments too... Our room was set up with three beds in a "U" shape, with S in one side, L in the "bottom" of the "U" and me in the other side. And then E brought an air mattress and set it up in between the two beds on the sides with enough room for L to get out of her bed. Well, it seems my restless leg syndrome got the best of me Friday night when I started kicking E's air mattress in the middle of the night - and didn't even know it!! She said she was okay, but did move her bed into the large walk-in-closet for the next night. So sorry E!
The next funny thing was that we were talking about what our pastor has been doing a series on and that this past Sunday he was going to talk about women and our role. We were talking about it and I said something to the effect of "men always want SEX and we never want SEX" (in general). The whole room stopped. Everybody stared at our table! Omigosh. I know we were all women, but I wanted to crawl under the table! : )
The last really funny thing happened last night when we decided to go to the Rice Boxx for dinner after Squirt's Sports Skills class (baseball - he loved it!). Techie was ordering his dinner when the guy behind the counter asked how he wanted his rice. Techie answered, "Uh, cooked." And he was serious! He couldn't figure out what the word was that he wanted to use - plain or fried. It was a really great and funny moment!
