To... Or Not To....

Show by example on everything, that is. Squirt has a habit of head-butting his sister when he doesn't like something she's doing - usually playing with a toy that he wants. So this morning after telling him numerous times not to head-but his sister, I called him over to me and as he was walking toward me, I lowered my head a little and he walked right into it. I don't think it hurt him that bad, but it scared him that I did it. I love my little boy and want him to learn to treat others well, but I learned today that that was not the right way to teach him. I'm still trying to figure out this whole parenting thing, but I'm glad I learned that now.
