Three A.M.

I was awakened at 3 a.m. this morning by Techie telling that Squirt just threw up. He had come in and told Techie that his tummy hurt, and so we then spent the next thirty minutes cleaning up and disinfecting the mess, getting some Pedialyte into Squirt's tummy and getting stuff into the washer. We then put Squirt back to bed with a throw-up bowl. And just as we were getting back into a deep sleep, Squirt called for us. We went to him to find that he'd gotten sick again and missed the bowl some. So we had to clean up his sheets, change his jammies and once again get him back to bed. And once again, just as we were both finally back into a deep sleep, Squirt called for us again. This time he made the bowl and fortunately it was the last bit. He seems okay now, but we made sure to tell him to try to sleep as long as he could so that the bug could get out of his system.
To top it all off, Techie was supposed to go camping with the guys today, but with the lack of sleep and the possibility of being contagious, he decided not to go. : (
Please keep us in your prayers that the rest of us don't get the stomach bug - it's enough that Techie and I are still getting getting over our colds (we still have a lingering cough) and have just started sleeping well over the last night or two (last night excluded...).
