Great Visit

My mom and sister came into town for Button's birthday and we had a great time. We did a lot of great visiting. It started with my sister M coming in town two days before, flying for the second time of her life - this time completely on her own (go M!) - and me navigating through the airport without Techie's assistance. We both accomplished great things that day! : )
The next day, we all went to the airport to get Mom and then went to Rainforest Cafe for an early dinner. The kids absolutely loved being in there. And while the gorillas did scare Button, I think she really enjoyed the whole experience. We walked around the mall after that, and Techie amazingly found a Wii just as we were about to leave!
The next day was Button's birthday party and we had so much fun! Then Techie's parents came over and we all visited for a while. After they left, we rested a while and then we bowled with the Wii. Gee, that thing is pretty fun. : )
Sunday came with me being pretty tired, so Mom and M took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese's while Techie and did some rearranging and clearing out of the furniture. We decided that we had too much in our living room and are giving some of that furniture to good will. After the gang got home, we rested and enjoyed some homemade cookies-n-cream ice cream - thanks M! It was yummy!!!
There was lots of visiting and we rubbed feet - a tradition between Mom, M and me. Oh and we watched the Bucket List - great movie!!! Not a fan of Jack Nicholson, but this was a fun, funny and serious movie that we really enjoyed watching.
Monday came with Button's 2-yr check-up - which she passed with flying colors and brunch at IHOP before taking Mom and M back to the airport. It was a short visit, but it was great and I'm glad we had that time together. : )
