Back on the Air

Oh my goodness!! Well, we've had a possible sinus infection for Squirt, my computer died, we had two water leaks, the kitchen faucet broke, my parents came in to visit and now Button has some kind of viral thing going on. So needless to say, having time to write here has been next to nothing.

We still don't know what's going on with Button. She doesn't really want to eat much, but at least her fever seems to have broken. We are getting her in to see the doctor tomorrow just to rule out strep. Hopefully, we'll have some answers....
So our visit with my parents was good. Their flight went well and we had time just to change clothes before going to the gym. After a good workout and some playtime in the park, we headed to dinner.

The next morning we played together and spent time before heading out to McDonald's for a snack and then to Bass Pro Shops. My dad had never been to one, so it was great that we could get there. Squirt loved seeing all the fish and boats and anything that had to do with fishing.

The next morning, however, Squirt didn't want to have anything to do with fishing and we ended up just resting all day. It was really nice to just sit and talk and visit.

Sunday we went to Techie's parent's house for lunch and then took Squirt to the mall for a train ride while Button napped with Techie's dad back at the house.

Monday we saw my parents off at the airport and then went to Rainforest Cafe for lunch. It was pretty fun, but we could tell that Button just wasn't really feeling well, so we headed home.

As for general things, Squirt started learning Nick Jr. and PBS games and is having a blast playing on the computer, whether in my lap or by himself. He's got great hand-mouse coordination and does really well.

Button started walking just five days after my birthday, so that was cool. She had taken one or two steps before that, but nothing like walking halfway across the room. Now she's all over the place and looks so cute wobbling through the house. It really is cool to watch them grow and learn! : )
